Recently The Boston Globe talked to 10 local taste makers about their style must haves for fall. Here are 2 our favs and 1 of our own

1.Leather  - (there’s some pretty convincing “pleather” out there now too, so don’t rule it out if you’re usually leather free!) From Motorcycle Jackets to Skirts to Booties investing in a versatile piece of leather will make it a go-to classic through the winter.

2. Red as the “new neutral” – On your lips, on your nails, and as a great addition to the neutrals of fall, red is a great pairing with the classic fall color palette of black, grey, tan, winter white, and navy blue.
